Odyssey to create a Development Centre of Excellence in Glasgow, Scotland

Odyssey Financial Technologies is pleased to announce that it is to open an office in Glasgow in early 2010. At first, the centre will employ 20 software developers with a potential increase if the market developments are positive.

Odyssey selected Scotland as the location for its new Centre of Excellence for Software Development on the strength of its financial services community and skilled workforce.

James Thomson, Odyssey Financial Technologies’ Senior Vice President R&D and Customer Support Services, said, “We are delighted to announce the opening of our Development Centre of Excellence in Glasgow. Scotland has a long-established financial services community, superb infrastructure, great universities and a wonderful can-do attitude; we are excited by the potential we have found there. This, coupled with the excellent support provided by the Scottish Government, made it the ideal location for Odyssey.”
