Odyssey Financial Technologies, a global provider of private wealth and asset management solutions and services, today announced the launch of new training programmes within its Knowledge Academy. Following the success of its training scheme for its portfolio management platform, Triple’A Plus™, Odyssey is launching training courses for its latest solutions: WealthManager™, which is designed for the mass affluent sector and InvestmentManager™, which is tailored to asset management.

Created in 2007, the Knowledge Academy’s mission is to train Odyssey’s clients, partners and employees to maximise the potential of Odyssey’s solutions. The first courses were on Odyssey’s Triple’A Plus™ platform. Twenty five modules dealt with all the solution 's features. In addition, a 10 days certification course has been created. After successful completion of a test, trainees are rewarded with a recognised diploma. The Triple’A Plus™ certification course “Bronze level” is already available, and the “Silver” one is about to be delivered before year end 2008.

The Knowledge Academy has awarded diplomas to more than 80 professionals over the last six months and plans to increase certification to more than 200 candidates by the end of the year.

Chiel Steinvoort, Business Analyst, ABN AMRO Private Clients, who was one of the first to attend the Bronze Certification Programme on Triple’A Plus™ in November 2007, commented: “This programme met my requirements in terms of content and quality of the presentations – especially the trainers who interacted with the audience. What I also much appreciated were the practical exercises.”

The expansion of the Knowledge Academy follows the growing uptake of Odyssey’s solutions and demand for training by its clients worldwide. Odyssey has established professional training rooms in Lausanne, Brussels and Singapore and will soon open a new centre in Toronto. Recognising a growing demand for customised training programmes for specific clients’ needs, Odyssey now also provides courses at its other offices worldwide.

Alexandre Gaudissart, Knowledge Academy Manager, Odyssey Financial Technologies, explains: “In the increasingly complex and competitive global market, financial institutions need to take full advantage of technology to streamline operations, improve efficiency and increase revenue. Each of the courses at the Knowledge Academy provide participants with relevant theoretical and practical knowledge. Our trainers are experienced consultants and analysts who are specialists in their fields.”

The new training catalogue is now available and provides an overview of the Knowledge Academy’s training schedule and organization. Request your documentation today at: training@odyssey-group.com.
