ABN AMRO Netherlands has recently signed an agreement with Odyssey Asset Management Systems to install Triple’A, Odyssey’s market-leading portfolio management solution, within their Private Customers business unit.
Triple’A is already a well-known product within the ABN AMRO Group from its use for discretionary portfolio management in ABN AMRO off-shore sites. This latest decision to select Triple’A was taken after an in-depth project initiation study organized in May and June 2003, detailing the potential benefits, costs and timelines of the project. Triple’A was specifically selected because of its excellent client reporting capabilities, providing a fully integrated, modern and powerful reporting module. Based on the Actuate report generator, the generation of high quality client reporting is supported through a set of standard report templates.
ABN AMRO’s priory objective is to improve the quality of its customer reporting and to set new quality standards in the market. By implementing Triple’A, the Private Customers business unit will take more ownership and control over its business-enabling tools. The new infrastructure will allow ABN AMRO Private Banking to serve a growing and changing business: specific private banking needs such as compliance, performance, decision support, and quality management control can be addressed by using Triple’A.
This project opens a significant business opportunity for Odyssey by expanding Triple’A’s present positioning in discretionary portfolio management towards the management of all Private Banking portfolios within the ABN AMRO Group. The Dutch project could also be extended towards other customer segments, namely Mass Affluent and Retail.
ABN AMRO is a leading player in private banking both in the Netherlands and in France, and has a strong presence in Luxembourg, Miami and Switzerland. The Private Clients business ranks among the world's top 10, with EUR 100 billion in Assets under Administration. The Asset Management division has a local presence in over 30 countries and EUR 156 billion in Assets under Management. For further information about ABN AMRO, please visit:
